Brainstorming/Short Hike
Hey everyone. Just want to get together and swap suggestions on things that we can do this summer and take a short hike down to the Eternal Flame. No need to bring anything other than your ideals (If you plan on hiking to the flame plan on getting your feet a little wet).
We'll be meeting at the Eternal Flame Trailhead on Seufert Road in Orchard Park just south of Chestnut Ridge Park off Route #277. Meet there at 11 a.m., for those interested we'll hike down to the flame afterwards. If you're interested in doing more hiking there will be ample opportunities to do so. Feel free to bring any friends who would be interested in the club.

Organizational Meeting
I'd like to schedule an Organizational Meeting for sometime in early spring. If you are interested in joining the club, not neccessarily helping to organize it, please e-mail us at alternativeadventureclub@roadrunner.com. When you e-mail us please indicate the day of the week and time when you're available to meet.
Introduction to the Community
I would like to welcome everyone to the Alternative Adventure Club's blog. AAC is a new LGBT club geared towards men & women over 18 years of age from Western New York and Southern Ontario Canada. Some of the activities we would like to plan include, but are not limited to: backpacking, biking, camping, canoeing, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, hiking, kayaking, rappelling, rock climbing, and snowshoeing.
The AAC will be active throughout the four seasons of the area. In addition to our adventures we will be considering attending social events, tours, and assisting local charities. In the very near future we will be establishing a facebook page and reaching out to the community for members. If you or your friends are interested in joining or assisting with the club please feel free to contact us at alternativeadventureclub@roadrunner.com.
